WILLANA KNITWEAR BY RIITTA SANDRÉN

Willana is a genious name for woollen knitwear in Finnish language.Villa means wool in Finnish, Lana means the same in Italian.

Designer Riitta Sandrén started her own knitting factory Willana in 1981 in Helsinki. At present she is concentrating in the most interesting part of the chain: Designing.

Riitta Sandrén always prefers the most precious materials in her collections. Like Merino wool, baby mohair, cashmere, cotton, linen and viscose.

Riitta's style is very feminine and curved in shape but that does not mean a lot of fringes or laces. Riitta thinks that a real adult woman needs good basic clothes which she can vary by combining with updated accessories.

The Willana-woman respects high quality materials and craftmanship as well as ease in her wardrobe. Trends are not so important, the style and harmony is. And there are no age limits in being beautiful and stylish.
